BOXING.
A WIN FOR PARKER, (BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION.) . NAPIER, June 10. In a 15-round contest here to-night, Eddie Parker (Hastings) defeated Max Gornik (Hastings) on points. The fight was very willing. At first Parker appeared to have matters his own way, but towards the duel the Australian brightened up and went for a knockout. Parker’s quickness and agility saved him a great deal of punishment, but both men received a severe milling.
