FOOTBALL ACCIDENT'S. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, June 8. Two player-si were injured in soccer matches on Saturday. Meadowcro-ft (Jcuhnisonville), while playing against YVadesto-wn in- the B division, broke a collarbone. F. Liddle (Johnsonvilie), playing his fi.Msit -match in tile fourth grade, on promotion, broke- a leg in a match against Wadestown. A SHOOTING ACCIDENT. DUNEDTN, June 7. Syd. Harvey, Otago Central representative for Sargood, Son and Ewen, while shooting in the Clyde-Cromwell Gorge, fell over a bank. His gun discharged, wounding him in the thigh. He was admitted to hospital in a critical condition. ACORDENT ENDS FATALLY. WELLINGTON, June S. Mrs Annie Champion, who- was injured on Thursday evening in a- motorcycle mishap on Kent Terrace, died at the hospital yesterday. ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED. GISBORNE. June 8. At the inquest on Mrs Dun 1 op, the coroner found that- death was due to accidental drowning. There was no evidence- to show how and when the deceased get into the water.
