ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
ANOTHER MOTORING ACCIDENT.
(BY TELEGRAPH. PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, June 5. A collision occurred at Epsom between a lorry driven by James Anderson and a five-seater ear driven by Arthur Hughes. The ear was overturned several times, and the lorry fell on its side, cases being scattered in all directions. The three occupants of the car—Mrs Christina Thorpe, her daughter Ruth, aged 2£ years, and Ernest J, .Hollobin, aged 34^—were taken to hospital. Hollobin had sustained a fracture of the skull. The extent of Mrs Thorpe’s injuries were not ascertainable pending an X-ray examination. The daughter suffered abrasions to the limbs. The car was a total wreck.
