OUT OF EXISTENCE. BY GARUJ —TRUSS ASSOCIATION-COPYRIGHT SYDNEY, June 4. The Returned Soldiers’ and Sailors’' Waterside Workers’ Union passed out of existence yesterday. Since January last the organisation had fought a losing fight against the official, labour union, pressure from which had depicted its ranks. N.S.W. FLOODS. SYDNEY, June 3. The Hood waters of the Murrumuidgee have now reached Narrandora. the low-lying portions of which are under water. Fortunately the town is built on high land. People living in the track of the water hacl several days to prepare for the flood, and had removed their belongings before the danger came. The damage will amount to many thousands. < CATERERS’ STRIKE SETTLEMENT. PERTH. June 3. The terms of settlement of the strike of caterers’ employees are exactly those offered by the employers five weeks ago. The preference to unionists issue, which was the main bone of contention, is left as in the old agreement and as insisted on by the employers.
