BOYS’ AND GIRLS’ CLUBS.
JUDGES’ WORK ACKNOWLEDGED
Appreciation of the good work done by the. judges in the boys’ and girls clubs was expressed at the meeting yesterday of the South Taranaki Executive of the Farmers’ Union. The question arose out of a reference to the; calf judging in the Kakaramea and Alton districts, where the judging wpuid probably be done next, week. ; \fr. Hodge said he had seen Mr. FHoskin Who did not know the matter had; been definitely arranged. Mr. Betts said Mr. Hoskin. had been appointed, . but confirmation was required. It was arranged on his motion' that Mr. Hoskin should get into touch with Mr McL’Dowie and make definite arrangements. He added that the executive should be very grateful to 'farmers, who travelled so far and did such good work for the clubs.
