REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION.

CENTRAL DIVISION. At a meeting of the centra) division of the Referees’ Association .last night at Stratford Mr. L. J. Jj'uYrie was in the chair and there were ten members present. The classification board reported that Messrs Johnson and Stratford be raised to senior status, and this was endorsed by the division. These referees will now be available for senior matches.

Mr. H. N. Smith, of Stratford, was elected a member of the association.

In connection with delay in starting matches, referees were instructed to. allow fifteen minutes grace if necessary, and then if a- team were not ready to start it they would be deemed to have forfeited the match. Members of the association were urged to strictly carry out this direction.
