CATHOLIC JUBILEE BALL.
TO-NIGHT AT WINTER SHOW BUILDINGS. In order t° mark the jubilee of the foundation of the Catholic Church in HaWer'a a grand half is being held in the Winter Show biddings to-night, An energetic and enthusiastic committee has been busy making preparations, and the function promises to be a success in every way. The ballroom has been artistically. decorated, the floor is in perfect order, and the music will be provided by n special orchestra of seven instruments, thus ensuring the utmost satisfaction for dancers. A strong ladies’ committee has the supper arrangements in hand and these will be of the bes.t It will thus be seen that everything possible has been clone to make all arrangements as attractive as possible. It is notified that tickets are obtainable at the doors.
