RUGBY AND BASKET-BALL.
On Saturday the Eltharn school sent a senior and a junior team to Hawera, and the two matches played resulted in a win for tlie Hawera senio r boys by 18 to nil and a win for the Hawera :-i] juniors by 3 to nil. Both the games were fixtures id the Primary Schools Centra] Competition. On Thursday friendly games were
played between Hawera and Tawhiti schools, resulting jn a double win for Tawhiti. The Tawhiti boys beat the Hawera boys at Rugby, 9 to 3, and the girls were victorious in basket-ball bv 32 points to 12. ■ .
