N.S.W. LOAN.

GOOD RESPONSE EXPECTED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT LONDON, May 25. The Daily Chronicle’s City editor expresses the opinion that, as the proceeds of the New South Wales loan are to be used for the repayment of temporary loans, the operation should not have an unfavourable reaction on exchange. A good response from investors is expected. The Financial News says the terms of the loan made a favourable impression on the market, as they are, generous. Underwriters have bad a sticky time lately, but money is now more plentiful and much of the burden should be taken off their shoulders in the next fortnight.
