The professional boxing contest between -Jack Heenev (11.8) and Max Gornik (11.2) ended in the midst of the eleventh round with a win for Gornik on a knock-out. The contest was by no means one-sided, Heeney though lacking some of his former dash, made 1 very creditable showing, and up to the end of the tenth round was slightly ;n the lead on points, out he then took the count to a short right hook on the temple.
