SENT TO GAOL. * (by TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, May 25 Robert Eaclie, who arrived on the Manuka at Wellington, was . sent to gaol to-dav for three months for theft of an overcoat. He is to be deported after serving that term. FIRE AT WAIIII. ~WAIHI, May 25. Shortly after midnight on Saturday a six-roomed dwelling, owned and occupied by John Munro, was destroyed by fire. * The contents, beyond a few personal belongings, were lost. The inmates had to make a hasty exit, clad in night attire. One little girl had a narrow escape from death.
