Shortly after midnight on Saturday a six-roomed dwelling, owned and occupied by John Munro, was destroyed by fire. * The contents, beyond a few personal belongings, were lost. The inmates had to make a hasty exit, clad in night attire. One little girl had a narrow escape from death.
