T]ie Empire thanksgiving service at Wembley Stadium this afternoon was a so'eirin aiid -impressive ceremony. Despite the chilly,.showery weather, 80,000 people were present. The King' accompanied bv the Queen, Prince Henry, the Duke and Duchess of York. Princess Mary, Lord Laseelles, Duke of Connaught. Prince and Princess Arthur of Connaught, Lord Cave, Mr L. S. Aniery (Colonial. Secretary), Mr W. C. Bridgeman, First Lord of the" Admiralty, "and Sir P. Cunliff Lister, were present. A massed choir supplied the music.—Reuter.
