Dr Ahmed Maher, Minister foT Education in the Eaghlulist Cabinet, has been arrested in connection with an. investigation into the murder of the ex-Sirdar. It was alleged that Sliafikmansour, who was with Dr Ahmed in the office of Education at the time the crime was committed, made certain disclosures regarding him. —Reuter.
