MANILA. May 21. Despite the appeals made to them, the Jnnanese athletes declined to resume participation in the Olympic contests, thereby assuring the Philippines a nun by default. The Philippines have now* secured 122 1-3 points, Japan 69 I—3, and China 2 1-3.
