The Presbyterian General Assembly has approved of a proposal that each month for a year the church should nominate 10 families who shall be brought out under the auspices of the church aiid placed on farms and stations until able to take up land for themselves. A SHOOTING RECORD. MELBOURNE, May 20. ' Shooting at Portland, S. Watson registered a world’s record by scoring 30 consecutive bulleeyes at 300, 500 and 600 yards.
