Aii agreement between the employers and the waterside workers at Dunedin was arrived at yesterday, and work was resumed oil the overseas steamer Puriri in the afternoon. Members of the Watersiders’ Union decided to recommence work, pending an agreement being arrived at regarding payment for the two hours not worked on Friday morning. The disputes committee held a meeting this afternoon, and the questions in dispute were fully discussed by the employers and the waterside workers’ representatives. The remainder of the Puriri’s Dunedin cargo was landed without a hitch. Tt is anticipated that no further trouble will occur this week. “Enough of that Barking, Achmedes.”—Ancient Tale.
