Nuzzo was seized with fury, and shot his wife dead. ' The three men tried to seize him, but Nuzzo shot each in turn and then escaped. He was pursued, and when he was surrounded bv carabineers he shot liimself. Nuzzo had carried off his wife with violence from her father’s house, and the marriage was unhappy owing to his violent character. He recently made his wife promise to ki'l her father and in order to avoid committing the crime the wife left home with the children.
