In a sneeeh Sir W. .Jojnson Hicks alluded to the Bolshevist menace, and said : “We are willing to let the other coun_ tries of the world live, but we will not allow them to interfere with our constitution. We are bound to take notice of the Communist movement controlled by Moscow, and we shall Arm ourselves with power to effectively deal with it. We do not intend this country to degenerate into a Communist republic. Wfe have to see that the necessary steps are taken to deal with this., great menace from the east and from Russia. We are tired of the influx of men to this country who are coming here to embitter class hatred and to destroy our constitution.” — Reuter.
