The Lyttelton Times this morning made reference to the situation created bv the death of Mr Massey. It says that revision ~oi the party grouping will be one of tlie probable developments in the near future. Speeches of Reformers and Liberals indicate that they agree concerning the main needs of the country. Common sense suggests that an effort he made to find a basis for a new National Liberal Party. The Times believed that the basis already exists, and the main lines of policy could he written almost at a moment's notice.
