The prosecution showed that the girl’s skull was) .lira ecu rod, and there were fourteen -wounds in the head and neck, which might- have been caused by a penknife. The- police gave evidence that tho boy had voluntarily made a -statement that he committed the crime.
Towards- the end of last month George Jeffrey, a- garden, boy, was arrested and charged with the murder of Joan, Annett, a little girl who- was found dead near Crowboro-ugh. with her head! battered and her throat cut, The police found blood-stained clothing and a knife.
