DEVELOPMENTS IN QUEENSLAND

(Received May 12, 10.40 a.m.) BRISBANE, May 13. A development in State politics occurred when the whole of the Parliamentary Country Party and the: majority of the United Party agreed to a coalition. The new party will be known as the Country Progressive Party, and in the Federal political sphere will support the Bruce-Page Government.
