The late Viscount Leverh.ulrne was buried beside his wife in tile Port Sunlight churchyard: ’ The funeral was a remark able tribute to his personality. Vast crowds lined the road and guards of honour were formed by Lever Bros.’ boatmen, ex-service men, Birkenhead Sea Scouts, while the whole of the grass space in the churchyard was reserved for thousands of Sunday school children.. Tlie mourners included repesentatives of politics, art, commerce and philanthropy.—AuS.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
