WEMBLEY EXHIBITION.
FEATURES OF N.Z. COURT. ROYALTY LENDS MAORI COLLECTION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received Alay 11, 10.20 a.m. LONDON, Alay 10. The New Zealand Court at Wembley concentrated largely on showing what the country was actually like. Visitors are charmed with the general waterfall scene, also the dioraams of AA'nitomo Caves, Southern Alps, Milford Sound, Wanganui River and Rotorua geysers. A life-size cow and calf, and a relief map of the Dominion modelled in butter are excellent features. The King and th.e Prince of Wales lent a splendid collection of Al-aori arts and crafts. The New Zealand pavilion introduced a fine system of night lighting, under which the pavilion was seen at its best. One of the features of the opening was the good sales of overseas fruit.. Australian apples sokl at 3d and 4d each. New Zealand fruitgrowers were again directly conducting their own stall, taking the profits. They undersold everybody. Four small apples for sixpence and live larger for a shilling were the ruling prices.—A. and N.Z. Cable As,sn.
