SHIP HURLED ASHORE. Telegrams to the Paris press from Palma. Majorca, state that the 1 island has been devastated by cyclones. At Andraix a dozen houses were demolished. A church tower at Cologne was overthrown. The wind storm was accompanied by torrential rain, which swept away two iron bridges and destroyed a large number of cables. Several villages are entirely surrounded by water. Tlie German ship Christian dragged her anchor and was hurled ashore. Damage to shipping and to the ports is extensive.
