HAWERA DISTRICT SCHOOL.

CELEBRATION OF JUBILEE

ON FRIDAY NEXT

The committee of the Hawera Disjubilee of the opening of the school trict school nave arranged that the shall be celebrated on Friday next, May 15, in the Winter Show Buildings. Invitation yards may be secured from the chairman, Mr. j. W. Harding, or the hon. secretary, Mrs. J. P. Page. The headmaster will entertain visitors at the school during the day. It is expected that there will he a large number of old pupils present from different parts of the Dominion, aridprobably some of the former masters. The event is creating a great deal of interest. It is an event of outstanding importance in the history of the school, * and the ; committee hope to see present as many as possible of the old pupils and friends interested in the school.
