The jury, in recommending accused to clemency, exnressed the opinion that the girl yielded very readily, and further had not been instructed bv her mother in the things she should know. Sentence was deferred till to-morrow. George Alexander Milne, who was found " guilty the previous day ol offences against males, was sentenced to ten years’ hard labour.
