KUROW MYSTERY.
SFJA.ROH FO>RJ HUDSON. No tmaco of the missing man, Philip Hudson, has yet been found, although 'Search parties have been out every day. Tib is now definitely established that the mvsteriouts stranger who visited a house in 'Wiaii.miate was not Hudson. “It is my opinion, ’’ stated a- member of the Waimate Aeclinratisatioii Society, “that if the body of Hudson is in the Wiarotaki —which seeniis likely —lit. will not .he recovered unless we experience a. strong nor'-wester that, will thaw the enow and flood the river.”: He stated that the river from Kwrow down to tlhe mouth was thick with snags and after a flood these could he seen going down to the mouth several, at a time. The river was almost at its lowest, at the present. Hi,ere were places where one eoullld almost walk across from hank to. hank. If the body was caught under a snag there would he very little chance of its being discovered, a.s it would probably he out of sight.
