TURKS AT THEIR OLD TRICKS. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, May 7. The Daily Telegraph’s diplomatic correspondent learns that Turkey is seriously obstructing the work of the mixed commission under the Treaty of Lausanne, which is dealing with the question of delimitating the demilitarised zones of the Straits. Turkey wants the zones reduced to such small dimensions as afford no real guarantee of freedom for the passage of the Straits in an urgency.
