(Received May 8, 10.45 a.m.) SUVA, May 8. The typhoid epidemic is at its peak. There ‘have been three European deaths, and several others are in a dangerous condition. Over 100 Europeans and many Indians, but no Fijians, are affected. The Boys’ Grammar School lias been converted' into a temporary hosmtal. Extra doctors and nurses have been ordered from Australia and New Zealand.
