OP Hit A HO LTSE—TO-N l GUT. •‘\\ ANl>ilßiiic OF THE WASTELAND.” Last nignt at the Opera House a large audience witnessed the first screening of Zane Grey’s ‘'Wanderer of Hie Wasteland.” ims visualisation of Zane Grey’s romance, filmed in colours in and about Death Va ley, California, is of unusual significance, it is the most interesting step away from the black and white photography, the actual story concerns Adam Larey, .• young pioneer prospector, who beomes involved in a fight with his ne-’er-do-well brother and accidentally il s him. or so it seems at the moment. Larey flees to the desert, 'has many narrow escapes, and ultimately iie decides to go back and face the authorities. But he discovers that .his brother is still alive. Jack Holt, Billy Dove, and Noah Beery have the leadng roles. This feature and supporting programme will he screened to-night for the hist, tinie, and patrons are advised to hook their seats at Everybody’s Sweet Store, ’phone 6J9. THE GRAND THEATRE. ‘ THE BRASS BOWL.” Edmund Lowe, the newest screen star will be seen in the second of his new series of starring pictures under the banner of William Fox at the Grand Theatre to-night. It is none other than ‘‘The' Brass Bowl.” an adaptation of Louis Joseph Vance’s great novel. In ‘‘The Brass Bowl” the tar has especially brilliant support. Glaive Adams is the leading lady. The supports include Fox News, Fox Topical and a very amusing cnm?dv entitled ‘‘A Nip o’ Scotch.” This programem will he screened for the last time to-night.
