MOTOR CAR OVERTURNS.
"WHILE PURSUED BY POLICE. TWO OCCUPANTS KILLED. MIDNIGHT EPISODE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT Received Mav 7, 12.30 p.m. LONDON, May 6. A inotor-car with five occupants were observed by the police at Stroud travelling in the direction of Pansw-ick at midnight. The men answered the description of a, gang wanted in connection with recent burglaries in Gloucester. The police secured a motorcar, pursued and met the gang returning from Pauswiek, where a garage had been broken into. The gang’s car swerved to avoid a collission and overturned. Three of the occupants escaped and two others were pinned under the wreckage. They were dead when extricated.
A quantity of sto'en goods was found in the car. The police . are searching the wooded Cotswolcl Hills for the others. —Renter.
