For the’ first time, this seaso,, the monthly production of butter in the Auckland Province has fallen short of the output of the corresponding month of last season. During last month the blitter receipts at the grading stores totalled 111,464, compared with 113,331. a decrease of 1867 boxes. This brings the receipts for the season to the end of April to the record total of 1,580,432 boxes, compared with 1.324,541 for the corresponding period of last season an increase of 264,891 boxes.
