(.BY TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATIONROTORUA-. May 4. News was received here at noon that a Rotorua man and a girl were found shot alongside a motor-car at Lake Rotorua. Mr M. Tomes, of the Public Works Department, who was working near the .road, heard shots and investigated. The girl was shot, through the breast, and the man’s head was blown off. The weapon used was a single-barrel shot gun -sawn off short. A man named Ralph was speaking to thS deceased ten minutes before the tragedy. Tire identity of the couple is unknown.
