The Director of Education (Mr J. Caugh’ey) was in Hawera to-day. This afternoon he went out with Mr A. Gray, headmaster of the Technical High School, to Alton to see the farm of Mr' H. Sutherland, which is one of those Mr Gray plans to use for demonstration by the owners to the hoys, who would thus gain practical knowledge on the actual farm by having the results of special treatment indicated t" them. WHAT AUTHORITIES THINK. What the A.M.P. Society says about itself is of less importance than a statement made by others who have no special, interest in giving credit to the Society. T?ead these plain talks by the Press: Daily Mail: “There is no finer company than the Australian Mutual Provident.” The Financial World: “The A.M.P. Society has now completed its seventyfifth year, and whilst it 'enjoys to the full the ripe experience which maturity confers, it retains all the vigour of vouth and the vitnlitv of the prime of life.” R. S. HAYBITTLE, A.M.P. Society, P.O. Box 105, Hawera. For influenza colds take Woods’ Great Peppermint. Cure.—Advt.
