IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS
(By Telegraph.—Spec-fail to the Star.) WELLINGTON, April 30. An important development indicating that the new industrial movement among the mail miners is fairly established, is the fact' that three out of the five miners’ unions in . the North Island have given notice to c-a'noel their registnationc under the Arbitration Art. Pnkemiiro and Te Akatea miners in the Wnilcato have not taken action, while the attitude of Otago and Southland mem has not been determined. This latest phase means the strengthening of the United Mine Workers’ Federation.
