SECRETARY’S STATEMENT. ( BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT. Received April 29, 10.10 a.m. SYDNEY, April 29. Dr, M. J. Kendall, special commissioner and travelling secretary for the Rhodes Scholarship Trust, expressed the opinion that the general standard of Australian and New Zealand Rhodes scholars had been higher than that of scholars from, other Dominions. Dr. Randall will visit New Zealand shortly.
