HAWERA MALE CHOIR.
TO-NIGHT’S CONCERT. Musical people are reminded of the excellent programme arranged for the Alale Choir first concert of the season to-night in the Opera House. The choir will sing a series of very interesting numbers and there will also be selections by the specially arranged orchestra, who will play the famous •‘Lustspiel” overture and a Brahains’ Hungarian Dance. Aliss Alyer Sawyer, the soprano soloist, wifi include in her numbers the great Villanelli song and the ‘‘Laughing Song.” It w f il be of interest to lovers of music to know that Miss Sawyer has been selected by the Royal Christchurch Musical Society to take the leading soprano part in a performance in “ilerrie England” on 2VTa.j- £> and 6.
