WAIRARAPA MEETING. (BY TELEGRAPH-—PRESS ASSOCIATION GREYTOWN, April 28. The Wairarapa Rifle Association’s meeting was continued at Papawai today in brilliant weather. A wirage caused disaster to some shooters,, but on the whole, good scores were registered. Midfield aggregate, 300, 500 and 600 varcls —£5, C. J .Mix, Featherston, 188, £4, H. R. Hunt, Suburbs, 185; £3. J. C. Feast, Grey town, 185; £1 each, V. J. Green (Okawa) 184; V. Swanson (Ivarori) 183; H. Koppert (Oamaru) 183 and eight others, five with 180, 4s. Wairarapa match, 800 yards—£s, D. F. Keir (Ashburton) 49; £2 13s 4d each; A. B. Swanson (Karori) 49; G. Vincent (Featherston) 49; F. Benton (Featherston) 49; £1 each, H. R. Hunt (Suburbs) 49; A. B. Balfour (Grevtown 49, seventeen others. There were 1 6 counted out. Four tyros £1 each and four ]os.
