Massey) were made at a function tendered by the Colonial Institute to Earl Jellicoe. The Under-Secretary for Colonial Affairs (Mr. W. G. A. Ormsby Gore) eulogised Mr. • Massey as a man who had contributed as much as anyone to the councils of Empire. . Earl Jellicoe concluded his response to the toast of his health with a feeling reference to Mr. Massey’s illness, and expressed a hope for his restoration to health.
