STOCK MARKET. Messrs Newton King, Ltd., report in connection with Douglas’ sale, held on Monday, 20th April, as follows: —-Sheep and cattle came forward in fully advertised numbers. Sheep slightly hard of sale under the hammer, but a. satisfactory clearance was made. Quotations: Two-tooth wethers 33s 7d, two and Four-tooth wethers 34s 6d. m.a. ewes 27s 6d to 31s 6d, m.s. lambs 22s 4d to 255, forward cows £3 7s 6d to £5, store cows £1 11s to £3, weaner- heifers 23s 6d. 2-year empty heifers £2 7s fid, I.C. heifers £2 11s.
