I have a pup whose name is Tyke, He is beautifully marked with black and white, { ; ,i : A favourite pet in all'our jinks, Though a perfect nuisance mother thinks. One morning Mum had lost a slice, Of course' there was a great, to-dc, When in the doorway stood young Tyke, Wagging his tail with all liis might. We searched in every little ho’e, Until at last we louiid the Sole, Hidden away in puppy's nest, And there we thought fle’d let it rest —Annie Tomlinson (11 years).
