INFANTILE PAEALYSIS AND NAZOL. The measures adopted by the Public Health Department in dealing with the Infantile Paralysis epidemic are based on the germ theory of the disease and its infectious character. The “way in” of germs is through the mucous membranes of the nose, throat and mouth. No remedy has been so conclusively proved to protect these parts as has Nazol. Though containing such powerful antiseptics and germicides, Nazol will not harm the tender membranes of the tiniest child if administered this way: ■ Add contents of a bottle of Nazol (1/6 at all chemists) to three tablespoonfuls of pure Olive Oil. Smear the mixture frequently well up the nostrils with cotton wool or little finger.'. A few drops should also be sipped.v —1
