New Zealand choicest salted is quoted at 164 s to 1665; exceptionally choice at 168 s; unsalted at 174 s to 1765; and exceptionally choice at 178 s. Australian choicest is quoted at 156 s to 16()s and unsalted at 166 s to 168 s. Danish is weak, and is quoted at about 190 s. The cheese market is firm. New Zealand is quoted at 100 s to 101 s, and Australian at 98s to 100 s. HAVEN’T BARKED TOR HALE AN HOUR. Coming down on the Main Trunk express from Auckland recently, Mr Baxter was rather surprised to see an elderly gentleman with ,a bottle of “Baxter’s” on the window ledge beside him.
