RUSSIA BUSY
CLEANED OUT U.S.A. MARKET. AN INTERESTING REPORT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received April 7, 11.30 a.m. OTTAWA, April 6. The Hon. .Tames Lvon, Ontario Minister for Lands and Forests, in announcing the addition of four used airplanes to the province’s fighting equad, stated that one unusual feature of the search for machines was the information obtained in the United States that the Russian Government had cleaned out the entire market. “It has been reported to me that agents for the Russians have purchased train-loads of machines, new and old, also motors and spare parts, for shipment to Russia,” he said.—Reuter.
