PARK CLUB. In a. but tons; match on. Saturday, the holders (Whittington, Me Phillips, W. Grant, and Quin) were defeated after a* very close finish, by Yiliars, A’Court, Adiamis, and Mills, the scores being 25 —22. On the 24th head the holdens were two. down. The last head the holders were lying one when the skips went ibaok, and Quin with his last bowl added another; Mills, however, sent, down a fast one as his. last, and instead of being two down the challengers were one up."
