At the inquest on Cooke and Foster, who were found poisoned in Coolie’s Old School of Anatomy’’ the widow of Cooke said she lhst saw him on March 25, when he declared that everything was going wrong. He had many times threatened to Take his own life. Dr. Fairlie expressed the opinion that both men died of gas poisoning, but as regards Foster, there was caked poison adherent to his lip and chin which would require analysis. The .inquest was adjourned.
