At Addington market a smaller yarding of sheep went forward to-day, but fat cattle were in large supply. The market throughout for all classes of stock was firmer. Store Sheep.—A much smaller yarding than for some weeks. North Island ewes and Marlborough sheep were in good supplv. A good recovery on the drop of last week was experienced, North Island ewes being better by 2e 6d to 8s a head, lambs by 2s, and wethers to a slight extent. Prices generally were ■up to those of a fortnight ago. Only *a small proportion of the entry was" passed. Fat Lambs.—Best were 123 d per lb. Extra prime to 44.5, prime 37s 6d to 41s, medium 34s to 375, light lambs 31s Gd to 33s 6d, store 27s to 31s. BURNSIDE QUOTATIONS; 'DUNEDIN,’ April 1. Sheep sold at higher prices this week. Fat cattle values were but.little changed. Fat pigs were up 2s or 3s while young store cattle depreciated by from about 10s to 15s. Sheep.—Extra prime wethers sold uf to 545; prime heavies, at from 43s to 465; lighter, 34s to 41s; prime heavy ewes, 36s to 40s 6d; lighter, 28s 6d to 34.5; mediums from 255. Lambs,—There was little change in the values of last week. Prime heavies made from 37s 6d to 41s; medium, 32s 9d to 34s 6d ; unfinished, 22s 3d to 26s 6d; Fat Cattle. —An extra prime bullock made £l7 2s 6d. Other bullocks made from £9 10s to £l2 ,ss; heifers from £5 los to £7 10s; cows £5 to £G 15s.
