(Received April 3, 11.5 a.m.) CAPETOWN, April 2. < „ The Government organ, The Burgher, states that according to its information the' .English press has been misinformed regarding the Government’s intention to totally abolish preference. It adds that they must await the Budget to see whether preference will continue te be placed on a quid pro quo basis or whether it is abolished.
