MUSICAL STRIKERS.
MUSIC AND DANCING TO CHEER THEM. MONTREAL, February 5. Fifteen hundred garment workers have struck here for higher wages and a 44-hours week. The picketing of 115 shops is causing much inconvenience, as this i s a “rush” period when summer styles are finding a ready scale. An orchestra and professional entertainers are present at strike headquarters to amuse the strikers while dancing instructors demonstrate the fastest steps.
