PROTEST AGAINST FINES.
MARAMA’S CREW GIVES NOTICE
(by TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSOCIATION. AUCKLAND, April 2. All stokehold hands and deck hands on the Marama gave 24 hours’ notice as a protest against fines imposed in Sydney. The company expect that the men can be replaced. The vessel is due to depart at five on Friday evening for Svdnev.
